Competition Seeberger x CU Reusable
§ 1 General
The organizer of the competition is Seeberger GmbH, Hans-Lorenser-Straße 36, 89079 Ulm (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer"). Participation in the competition is only possible subject to these conditions of participation.
§ 2 Participation requirements
Participation in the competition takes place in the market survey, which runs from 25.02.2025 to 26.05.2025 by CU Mehrweg GmbH, G7 22, 68159 Mannheim, in REWE stores participating in the reusable pilot test. In addition, participation is possible during the same period via the link shared via the Seeberger social media channels. All natural persons aged 18 and over who are resident in Germany are eligible to take part in the competition.
One entry per person and household is permitted. Employees of companies involved in the organization of this competition and their relatives may not participate. Entries by competition agents and similar services as well as automated entries in general are excluded from participation.

.§ 3 Gewinnspiel
The participant can take part in the competition by providing a valid e-mail address.
At the end of the competition (05.06.2025), five prizes will be drawn from all participants.
- Win 1, 2 and 3: 1 VAUDE backpack each, filled with Seeberger products, with a total value of approx. 120 €
- Win 4 and 5: 1 Seeberger gym bag each, filled with Seeberger products, with a total value of approx. 30 €
The winners will be chosen at random from those eligible to win and notified by email.
If the winner does not respond to the prize notification within a period of 5 days and provide an address within Germany for shipping the prize, this prize will be forfeited without replacement.
§ 5 Warranty disclaimer, early termination of the competition
1. The organizer points out that the availability and function of the competition cannot be guaranteed. The competition may be terminated or removed due to external circumstances and constraints, without this giving rise to any claims by participants against the organizer. The organizer is entitled to change the design of the competition and the conditions of participation at any time due to special conditions, provided this is necessary for the organizer and reasonable for the participants.
2. This may include technical problems, rule changes or decisions by platforms such as Facebook if the competition is organized on or in connection with them.
3. The organizer reserves the right to cancel or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice. The organizer will make use of this option in particular if, for legal or technical reasons (e.g. manipulation, hacker attacks, or errors in the hardware and/or software etc.), the proper running of the competition can no longer be guaranteed. After the competition has ended, it may be declared invalid if it cannot be ruled out on the basis of findings that the competition has been manipulated and this could have had an influence on the result or the chance of winning.
4. If the conduct of a participant has caused the premature termination of the competition, the organizer may demand compensation from this person for the resulting damage.
§ 6 Exclusion of participation
1. If a participant violates these conditions of participation or legal regulations, uses unauthorized aids or otherwise obtains advantages through manipulation or attempts to do so, the organizer may exclude this participant from the competition. In this case, all claims against the organizer, in particular for the prize, are excluded.
2. Likewise, anyone who provides false personal data may be excluded.
§ 7 Liability
1. The following exclusions and limitations of liability shall apply to the organizer's liability for damages, notwithstanding the other statutory requirements for claims in accordance with this Section 6.
2. The organizer shall be liable without limitation insofar as the cause of the damage is based on intent or gross negligence.3. Furthermore, the organizer is liable for the slightly negligent breach of essential obligations, the breach of which jeopardizes the achievement of the purpose of the contract, or for the breach of obligations, the fulfilment of which is essential for the proper execution of the competition and on the observance of which the contractual partners regularly rely. In this case, however, the organizer is only liable for the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. The organizer is not liable for the slightly negligent breach of obligations other than those mentioned in the preceding sentences.
4. The above limitations of liability shall not apply in the event of injury to life, limb or health, for a defect following the assumption of quality guarantees for the quality of a product and in the event of fraudulently concealed defects. Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
5. Insofar as the liability of the organizer is excluded or limited, this also applies to the personal liability of employees, representatives and vicarious agents of the organizer.
§ 8 Miscellaneous
1. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes relating to this competition is Ulm.
2. Should individual provisions of these conditions of participation be or become invalid, this shall not affect the legal validity of the remaining conditions of participation. They shall be replaced by an appropriate provision that comes closest to the purpose of the invalid provision.
§ 9 Privacy
In the following, we would like to inform you in accordance with Art. 13 GDPR about our handling of your personal data, which you transmit to us in the course of your participation:

- The personal data transmitted by the participant, such as name, address, e-mail address, will be processed exclusively for the purpose of carrying out the competition described and are necessary for the implementation and processing of the campaign. The legal basis for processing the data is Art. 6 (1) b) of the GDPR.
- The recipients of the personal data are, in addition to the organizer, the service provider CU Mehrweg GmbH, G7 22, 68159 Mannheim, which is commissioned to carry out the market survey and the competition and which processes the personal data of the participants within the framework of commissioned processing.
- The data provided by the participants as part of their participation in the competition will only be processed and stored by Seeberger and its service providers commissioned to carry out the competition for the duration of the competition for the purpose of carrying out and processing the campaign. The participants' data will be treated with absolute confidentiality.
- The personal data will be deleted by us, provided that the purpose of the storage is fulfilled by the end of the action and the deletion does not conflict with any legal, in particular tax retention obligations.
- Transfer to a third country does not take place.
- Each participant is entitled to request information about which personal data is stored about them at any time. A correction, restriction of processing, deletion or transfer of the data can also be initiated in the same way.
- Participants have the right to complain to the competent data protection authority about the processing of their personal data. By participating, the participant consents to the storage and processing of the data provided by him/her to the extent described above. The participant can revoke his/her consent at any time in writing or by e-mail to info@seeberger.de. This also voids the right to participate in the campaign.
