Eine Schüssel mit knusprigem Crumble, serviert mit Vanilleeis, daneben liegt eine Nusspackung.

Preparation

Remove the core of the fruit and cut it into equal pieces. Place the fruit pieces in a pan with 1 tablespoon of butter and 50 g of brown sugar. Cover and simmer over a low heat for about 15 minutes. If necessary, add a little more sugar. Once the fruit is soft (but still holding its shape) and sweet enough, pour it into a medium-sized casserole dish.

Preheat the oven to 190 °C. Chop the nuts and mix them in a bowl with the rolled oats, 70 g sugar, flour, melted butter, a pinch of salt and some cinnamon. Spread this mixture evenly over the fruit.

Bake the crumble for 30 to 40 minutes until the surface is golden brown. Serve warm, ideally with vegan vanilla ice cream.
